FUT Champs lag spikes ping jumping to 1000+

I have tried to start the weekend league and my first two games the pre match said 25 ping. First minute or so of the gameplay was fine with a few lag spikes. Then both games became unplayable. Couldnt control players, lag spikes, inputs not working and the second game disconnected me. My wifi is fine with wired connection and this doesnt happen in any other game. I also dont disconnect from xbox servers when this happens. Whats the point of playing when records and rewards depend on gameplay and the game is unplayable? 2 weeks into launch of the game. Is there a way I can get these two games back or my DNF modifier adjusted or?
