PS5 – White Screen When Connecting to EA Servers

I’m having a persistent issue with EA SPORTS FC 27 on PS5.

Every time the game reaches the message saying my PSN account is connecting to the EA Servers, the screen turns completely white and stays there indefinitely. The game does not fully crash because the FC 27 background music continues playing behind the white screen.

Offline mode works normally. I can enter the offline menus, but if I press R2 to reconnect to EA Servers, I immediately get the same white screen again.

I have already tried restoring licenses, restarting the PS5, clearing the system cache, rebuilding the database, testing a different internet connection and mobile hotspot, changing DNS, deleting and restoring saved data, checking my EA account connection, and verifying that my PSN and EA accounts are linked correctly.

Is anyone else experiencing this exact white-screen issue on PS5?
