PS5 Slim – EA FC 27 Repeated Freezing After Extended Kick Off Sessions

I am experiencing a recurring performance issue in EA SPORTS FC 27 on my PS5 Slim Disc Edition.

The game initially runs smoothly. However, after approximately two hour of playing Kick Off offline, the screen begins freezing for 2 to 5 seconds at regular intervals. Gameplay then resumes but becomes increasingly choppy and appears to run in slow motion.

Pausing the game temporarily restores smooth performance, but the issue returns after a few minutes. Closing and restarting the game also temporarily resolves the problem.

Additional Findings:

Other PS5 games run smoothly, even after extended play sessions.

FC online matches do not exhibit this issue.

The problem occurs specifically during offline Kick Off gameplay.

I am using a physical disc version of the game.

I have experienced similar problems across multiple FC releases on the same console.

These findings suggest that the issue may be related to offline Kick Off gameplay in the FC series rather than a general console performance or network problem.

Could the QA team please investigate whether this is a recurring performance issue affecting offline Kick Off gameplay across FC releases on PS5?

I would appreciate confirmation that this issue has been acknowledged and is being investigated.
