PC Ultimate Team Is No Longer Competitive

I’ve been playing EA FC on PC for years and I’m done pretending this is a competitive game. Ultimate Team on PC feels completely broken, and the main reason is simple: cheating is everywhere.

Opponents use boosters, macros and hidden stat modifiers. You see players with low OVR cards moving faster, winning every duel, intercepting impossible passes and playing perfect tiki-taka, while your own players feel slow, heavy and unresponsive. Passes go in the wrong direction, defenders get stuck in animations, and the opponent seems to control the game better than you do. I can`t make tactics switch. I can`t enter from menu in team management, but also the other saved tactics witch u can switch during play, does not work or apply either.

Goalkeepers are another joke. A 90-rated keeper gets outperformed by an 85-rated one who teleports across the goal, covers impossible angles and makes saves no human reaction should allow. Meanwhile, your keeper looks like he is standing still. How in earth can Kika 83 ovr with those stats can be that good. Joke gaaameee. Joke gaaame. Full of cheaters and incompetents.

How are PC players supposed to enjoy the game or compete fairly when this is the standard experience? We pay hundreds of euros every year for a game that increasingly feels automated, unfair and hostile to legitimate players. Skill barely matters when the opponent can boost stats, automate inputs and exploit the game while anti-cheat does almost nothing.

If EA cannot provide the fair, competitive product we paid for, then either fix the cheating properly or give players their money back. And if you will not stop the cheaters, at least make these tools (that you also own) available to everyone — because right now, the only “equal” matches are the ones where both players exploit the game.

L.E.: This is not only a PC problem. PlayStation and Xbox players are affected too — the difference is that they can at least turn cross-play off. PC players do not have that option, so we are forced into the same broken matchmaking environment.

This is not a small balance issue. It is a complete failure of competitive integrity in Ultimate Team. Stop ignoring the PC community.
