Can't log into EA account to redeem code

Why when I want to enter the redemption code, I can't log in to my EA account. Why is that? Please answer because I want to redeem the code.

Hi enms03neoi04,

It might be that you couldn't log in while the maintenance was happening. Could you try again now and see if you can log in?
