I'd raise a ticket with Helpdesk via the in-game menu so they can check your account logs and see if they can identify the reason behind this. Make sure to mention that you already completed steps 1, 2, and 3. Also let them know what device you're using, along with the exact Android UI and version.
It’s unlikely to make a difference, but have you tried accessing your account through an emulator like Bluestacks, just to see what happens when you log in from another device?
If all else fails, it might be related to the bug identified as Bug #71 back in May. There hasn’t been any update on it in Discord so you'd need EA to comment on it further.
