I scored my two goals with a Nakata hero card and was credited with both the second and third prizes, but NOT the first, most basic challenge — score two goals with any hero/icon. Why not (when Nakata obviously meets the criterion)?
Fortunately, I had enough time remaining to score two more goals with a different hero/icon, but it’s an obvious bug in the challenge.

Except that not all the icons and heroes count, and the only reason it counted is that you used a newer icon.

So how is it we’re supposed to know which ones “count” BEFORE we play the match? Am I missing something? The challenge simply states that you have to score two goals with a hero or icon. Full stop. I don’t see any clarifying language or “fine print” that tells you it has to be “newer” hero/icon.
My point I simple — this kind of thing should be communicated more clearly. It’s not hard to do if EA cares to take an extra minute or two and put an info button next to the challenge criteria. The challenges are hard (and often frustrating) enough as it is. There’s just no need to create extra “pain” by making us find out only after we’ve started the match that the challenge criteria are not exactly what they appeared to be. Providing transparency/clarity is a matter of basic respect for the user’s time.

Posted this before the updated thread had populated. Glad to see it’s fixed.
My comments assumed it was EA’s intent to require only newer icons/heroes. It appears now that was not the intent, so my comment can be disregarded.
