Offside issues
When the ball is with my player and another one of my players is in an offside position, I shoot at the goal to score, not pass to him. The ball hits the goalpost and comes back to the player who was in the offside position, and the game gives offside. This is not realistic, because I didn’t pass the ball to the player in the offside position — it came back from the goalpost. If I had passed the ball directly to the player in the offside position, then it would be offside, but I shot at the goal
I guess that you really should read Law 11 first because you are wrong...
If a player is already in an offside position when the shot is taken, and the ball rebounds off the goalpost/crossbar/keeper/defender to them, it counts as “gaining an advantage from an offside position.”So even though you shot at the goal and didn’t pass, if the rebound goes to that offside player and they play it, the offside will be called.
