Is your Pavlidis tradeable?
What I can observe on my end, is that if I have a player item 3x, out of which 2x untradeable and the 3rd one tradeable, I can only find 2 under Star Signings.
My hypothesis/guess is that we can only convert untradeable players for shards.
If I am correct, there are two things you could do:
- If you have never had Pavlidis as untradeable, you can go to the badge and activate the player item. This will make your Pavlidis untradeable, allowing you to convert him to shards.
- Try to sell the player on the market, so you have more coins.
- (Or put him in your line-up, if you prefer, but I assumed this is not what you wanted, so that's why I think this not a viable solution to you.)
In my case, my tradeable 111s I also have untradeable, so I cannot use option 1 above. I do not see a way for me to collect shards for tradeable player items, unless I have never had the player item as untradeable.
I am not sure whether this behaviour (tradeable players do not show in Star Signings > My Players) is intended or not. Either way: I would like to urge EA to either allow converting tradeable player items to shards, or to add a mechanism to deliberately convert tradeable player items to untradeable for the sake of being able to convert them to shards.
