Songkran Dribble Skill Challenge Freezing Repeatedly

I’ve now had the Dribble skill challenge in the “Build Sand Castle” chapter of the Songkran event freeze on me twice at the 20 second mark (see screenshots). Each time I’ve tried to forfeit the challenge only for the app to freeze again when attempting to return me to the main menu (after I exit the “Failed” screen). When this happens I’m forced to close the app and re-load. I’m using an iPad with the latest iOS version.
