So what's to become of this game? I can't find any hope. The whole system sucks. It's like I am on a gambling platform. No grinding, just depending wholly on luck . Nothing to look forward to as best player cards aren't even possible for f2p šš
Yeah, itās bad. People posting disgusted farewells everyday now. And no reason for hope of change coming from EA. Iām a hairās breadth away from quitting myself. Canāt describe how disheartened I am by the direction of the game at the moment. And Iām so infuriated by the contempt EA is showing toward the sport and all the users who love it. This has all the hallmarks of an abusive relationship ā we keep hoping EA will āchangeā and they just treat us worse and worse. Itās all well and good that we have a thread like this, but it means nothing until/unless we see EA make material improvements to the game. The clock is ticking and the ship is taking on water (and I, for one, have no intention of going down with it).
Just about sums it up. Iām so used to going to click on the app and now I hesitate and come to the forums or x looking for solace and any indication EA are hearing what is said and are taking action to make the system (whatever system) for earning new players fairer and meaningful (i.e. having a player of choice and working towards it.
Unfortunately all I see is EA ramping up and throwing everything at the new system. Maldini, Gullit, Messi, Ronaldo,ā¦.. the players we would all want, trying to entice players to get those players. But the only way you can achieve that is to spend an obscene amount of money. Maybe some will buy into that but I suspect it will be the sole province of those with very deep pockets and only EA know how many if those there are. For the rest of us the chances of getting any of the best players are minimal.
And the UCL eventā¦ā¦.. sorry EA but you are treating the community with utter contempt. Thereās no explanation. You have players costs set at nearly 3 times the number of tokens you can earn and then compound it by putting the prices up, then donāt give rewards but worst of all (and apart from a short āweāre looking into it) complete radio silence. Complete disrespect for their customers.
then there is pack luck in the Portugal section. Again, no hope of a top-rated player.
so today there is news of all the new events to come, the great new players we wonāt be earnā¦ā¦another month of no players to take our teams forwards.
thing is, yes the game can be brilliant and fun and thatrās great, repeating tasks to progress is fine. Repeating tasks for useless cardsā¦.. pointless.
iām wavering too. if your commercial imperative is such that you have to make more money to survive then say as much
But still make it fair to progress. If you were just pushing the envelope to see how far you can take it then, unless the whales are spending enough to make it worthwhile for you then make changes now, or you will lose your player base.
