EA is gradually including a PAID system in the game. It's the death of free-to-play. Why do we stay here? I can't even get a 120-rated player in the drafts. My team is still made up of 117-rated players. The sharding system is a disgrace.

Yep. And (as I’ve said many times before) I would be willing to pay an annual fee for a game that is consistently fun to play. But I refuse to pay the extortionate prices EA has set for meta players when the gameplay is rubbish. The shelf life on these cards is maybe two months at best (and getting shorter all the time) and the prices are outrageous.
EA has created what is effectively a very expensive HAMSTER WHEEL. Users spend money but never actually get anywhere because the players will just get nerfed next month when they introduce the next event. In the past at least you could opt to “grind” — meaning F2Pers could spend time instead of money to get maybe 75% of the rewards obtained by the P2Pers. But that’s all changed in recent months. The grind no longer guarantees you even 50% of what P2Pers can buy and that means we can longer remain competitive. So what’s the point???
I’ve played EA games for over 30 years. I’ve owned many titles. I used to think they provided excellent entertainment value for the money. I’m not posting simply to whine and moan. I know EA and FCM can be better than what it currently is because it’s been better in the past! The worldwide community of football fans and the community that’s grown up around FCM deserve a return to what used to make this title (and, indeed, most EA games) great. Focus on making matchplay realistic and fun and stop trying to con us with elaborate “shell” games. Most of us don’t have hundreds of dollars to waste on cards that become outdated within a couple of months. If there has to be a paywall then at least give us reasonable value for our money with consistent matchplay and cards that hold their value for longer than the blink of an eye.
