Exchange Problem

In live video (42-44min) Tak said we can purchase Keane using League token then transfer him for Phase token 2 and then transfer phase 2 token to star shard. It will provide 2250 Star shards that is not bad. That's why I purchased Keane but I see I can't exchange him in phase 2 token, it is not showing keane and also there are a few players that are not showing in any exchange. Also in rank up points exchange no player is showing.

  • For Rank Up Points exchange, you need a Universal Rank player that were used to Rank Up players instead of Rank Up Points so it's just a useless exchange and only for old players still having those Universal Rank players

Tak's statement in the livestream confused me. None of the league exchange player items used to be exchangeable for 26 Phase 2 tokens - this was limited to event player items of the included events. The league exchange player item is not linked to any event, and thus I didn't do this exchange as I expected it to be a useless player item, unless you can use it in your squad. Unfortunately for you, I expect that Tak made a little mistake while going through the contents to cover in the livestream - and you seem to have proven that I am correct in that assumption.

If EA would now consider a compensation pack for what I expect was just a genuine human error from the presenter-on-duty (I have to say I quite like Tak - he explains clearly at a good pace for me to follow him, so I suggest to not be too hard on him for having a slip-up...), then I'll also grab Keane from the store...

  • In past event TOTW players can be exchanged for Extra time tokens but now they are also not showing for 2000 extra time token. They become useless as their ovr is too low tobe considered in squad, their only option was to exchange for token which now not available anymore.

  • Good that I found this.. was thinking to get 117 Keane CDM card from the league Xchange for getting star shards.

  • The Keane fiasco has been passed on to devs on day one of the TOTS. While nothing official has been stated by EA to my knowledge, I do not believe that what Tak and Fish said in the stream was correct.

As Kannix_NL pointed out, League Exchange players have not been a part of Phase 2 Tokens, so it was extremely unlikely that we would end up getting the new star shards for it.  Personally, I got Keane anyway because his cards historically were pretty good, and he is a good 117+ranks CDM sub for my H2H squad for pretty much free.

With regards to TOTW not being a part of the Extra Time that was also raised a few weeks ago, EA were supposed to provide an update. Let me ping EA via the mod channel, maybe Pulsar will have something to share soon.

EA should provide an option for reverse transaction of keane, but I don't think they will do it. Actually they always ignore these types of error. An in-game notification has been provided. Players gained through Nation's Story and TOTW will not be eligible for extra time token and shards as well. You can't sell them as they are untradale. Thus I doubt the purpose of these cards since their ovr is too low to be included in line up. The highest ovr provided is 117 in nation's story and their stats are too low. The highest ovr provided in TOTW is 113. The only use of these player are for a few training points.

In case others have not seen it, this is what the dev team came back with, and it was posted in-game to ensure everyone is told the details, and shortly after, it was also sent to the rFUTMobile Discord server, which is considered to be an official source as well.

This pretty much excludes Keane from being included moving forward.

Personally, I think it is quite off the mark, and quite a few others have provided similar feedback. How it turns out, we shall see.
