Yeah I always switch this on, it's way better than most user selectable balls. Next to H2H and VSA, it is also present when playing in a league tournament (which basically is VSA gameplay).
My suggestion would be to make this a persistent setting, i.e. either once switched on in H2H/VSA it stays on for your next matches (also after closing the app and coming back the next day). Alternatively move the setting to the gameplay page and let me set it there, so it is also simply always on.
There is also one bug though: in VSA (and league tournaments), when you get a free kick, the ball loses the highlight. The setting at that moment is still on, so I need to switch it off and back on again for the highlighting to re-appear.
