EA_Vendcera With all due respect, this issue has NOT been fixed. While the ping numbers reflected in the app have improved, this is a totally superficial “improvement” — the gameplay, especially in H2H mode remains unacceptably ”sludgy.” In most matches the players are STILL extremely slow to react to user input and, more often than not, the user winds up arm wrestling the AI (especially on defense) because it takes over when the user inputs are delayed. All of this results in a miserable (and uncompetitive) user experience.
Even in VS mode the poor network connection warning appears in almost every match and there are lag/glitches in gameplay that never used to occur before the update.
Instead of announcing to the community that EA has solved a problem, how about asking us whether we’ve experienced an improvement? It rings awfully hollow (even insulting) when EA asks for feedback (e.g., on the update), provides no acknowledgement of what the community has said, and then announces a problem is fixed without asking the community whether our experience has actually improved. Put simply, you guys are engaging in a very one-way style of communication that regularly leads to the parties (EA and the community) “talking past” each other. It leads to a lot of wasted energy for everyone (but especially those of us who play everyday and post regularly in here) and an awful lot of frustration when persistent issues (like poor H2H play) go perpetually unaddressed.
