Is this a bug or evidence of cheating?

Just completed another league tournament in which a fairly evenly matched opponent put up 38 goals. This means they converted every single possession and that made me suspicious of cheating. So, I looked at the details of their attacks and was surprised to see all but one of the 37 goals scored by a defender (see screenshot). Is this the app failing to accurately record the player who scored, or is it evidence of an exploit perhaps being used? Does anyone know? Would love to hear EA weigh in on whether there are known glitches with these stats because I don’t want to allege cheating if there’s a logical explanation.

    Hey. That score is definitely unusual, and I can understand why it raised concerns. If you believe there may have been cheating or an exploit involved, please report the account through the standard reporting path. That will allow the relevant team to review all the details properly and check what happened.

    I’m afraid this isn’t something we can investigate or confirm on the forums, but reports submitted through the correct channel will be looked into by the team.
