They have this leveling thing to make the game enjoyable for everyone. That why they boost low ovr players and don't take the auto defence out, that's why after scoring two goals you won't be able to take the ball out of your own half, that's why the opponent will score a late goal to make it 2-1. So that it gives hope for the beginners. It's marketing. Only that if you have an older phone or a poor internet connection those thing will make you loose the match. Also some people are exploiting these game mechanics.
