I am not just noticed it more in MM. I have clearly stated the passing accuracy STAT from both MM and H2H. That's why I said the terrible passing tendency may not be attributed by passing change in the overall mode.

@blhh117 Yep - the AI is the AI though, irrespective of whether it is in H2H or Manager Mode … they are the same thing and are both impacted by the same AI passing issue.There is no user input that will make any difference to the passing in MM - and the difference in the stats could just be that then AI is better at defending than a user player, hence more intercepts in MM.

Manager mode passing issue is a human mistake, not an overall change in passing

It seems that both modes are influenced by different AI system. In my experience with both modes, the AI exhibits distinct tendencies. While the manager mode often opts for long shots, the head-to-head mode does not. Notably, the passing AI in head-to-head mode remains unaffected as the passing accuracy is consistently high (at least 80%). However, in comparison, the passing performance of the AI in manager mode(mostly 65-75% passing accuracy rate) is significantly poor to that of the head-to-head AI.

Since the June update, there has been a noticeable decline in passing quality within manager mode. Some individuals suggest that this decline may be linked to the broader AI passing system.
If this decrease is indeed tied to AI passing, what purpose does a player's passing rate serve? From my understanding, a player's passing rate indicates their capacity to deliver accurate passes for both human and AI players.
In a recent experiment, I pitted a squad of all bronze card players against a squad of 105-rated level 30 players in manager mode. Surprisingly, both squads exhibited very similar passing accuracy rates. Even more striking was the revelation that the bronze card squad sometimes achieved a higher successful passing rate than the 105-rated squad.
Therefore, the question arises: Is it easier for us to determine whether the poor passing is a result of AI influence, a data input error, or an implicit acknowledgment by EA that the game is scripted?

I have also observed that others have encountered the same issue with problematic passing. I don't agree that the passing issues stem from changes across the three modes, as the passing AI in each mode appears distinct. If you believe that the poor passing is a result of the overall AI system, then perhaps substituting the Manager mode passing AI with the more reliable Head-to-Head AI could be a solution, given the strong passing performance in Head-to-Head mode.
The discussion surrounding manager mode has sparked questions about whether the passing errors stem from human input data mistakes or AI influence. If AI is indeed a factor, several considerations come to mind:
Why do both bronze and 105-rated players exhibit the similar passing accuracy?
Why do the passing numbers remain consistent for passing tendencies 1, 2, and 3?
Why do players struggle to receive the ball during "organized" or "free" build-up attacks?
If the problem is indeed related to AI, it could suggest that the player design and tactics in manager mode are meangingless and potentially contradict the intended design of the player. This is because the design concept of a card represents the mechanics of a specific performance, while tactics serve as the means to alter the team's performance style and tendencies.

@blhh117 It has certainly been more evident in manager mode than pve - but the pve AI passing is also broken, with AI regularly putting the ball over the sidelines for no reason.

In any event - its not your tactic settings or any other form of iser interaction that is causing the issue with MM AI passing - it is the changes to passing mechanics that were made in June which have had a strange effect on the way AI targets passing.
