OVR don't matter in this game

Ain't no way some random bronze striker dude named Sir Bartholomew Jr. III from a random football league that nobody has ever heard of ranked up 5x is better than a base card 95 OVR Pelé.

They have the pace of Prime Thierry Henry, The shooting of R9, The passing of KDB, The dribbling of Messi, The defending of Van Dijk all in 1 for a price of, maybe couple of million. (1 - 6? maybe even higher.) just ridiculous at this point.

And who the hell thought that Rank Up Chance would be a great feature?

"Hehehe, let's fail people's 3rd rank up of a player that costs 10m on the market after they spent billions of coins for duplicates of that rhehehehe at 80% as well hehehehshah" like bro, at least make it like that only for cheaper cards like 13k - maybe 3 or 9 mil max so they don't abuse it. then players who costs 10M+ are guaranteed to rank up cuz they're already expensive enough and not many players has that many coins to spare.

    Yeah I agree. Im using lover rated players and just upgrading them because I can afford them

    So I’ve completely avoided high ranking players for this exact reason, I’ve gone for the mid/high range with reasonable price players, Isak from Newcastle starts at an 87 but when you get him to 90+ and have trained him to 15 rated, he’s an absolute monster, add 5 star weak foot on to that and it becomes bonkers also he’s like 15ft tall which is a massive bonus

    @Boshamooay In my experience playing in LvL tournaments - your squad OVR is crucial.
    If your squad OVR is not 90+ you cannot compete.

    @Osulis Team ovr matters only for lvl and vsa. Other modes are susceptible to upgrading and training low ovr players to rank 5/training 30 and they get better stats than high ovr cards that are not ranked/trained.

    I actually god rid of many of my high ranking players.   I had all 92 or higher players, but I found that full training players are faster in game than just a 5-training 93 player.  While my ranking isn’t 94 anymore, the team is better because I have 30 or 25-training players that are 90 or above.  

    need to get 5 more cr7 though to get to 25-training 😂

    @MrGrandpaSteve not even then, the amount of times I’ve played and 90 OVR team that has 94 Ronaldo, 94 zidane in and a team that is over 90 rated without a bench is funny, you jam you team to a 93/94 rated and pack out the bench with bronze players and you end up with a 90 rated team and get matched accordingly it’s funny
