Please Improve FC Mobile for all fans

Subject: Please Improve FC Mobile for All Fans

Dear EA Sports Team,

My name is David, I’m 12 years old, and I love football and FC Mobile. But I feel the game needs big changes to make it more fun and realistic for all of us.

Here are some of the problems and things we hope you can improve:

- Gameplay feels unfair sometimes — goalkeepers don’t act smart, and free kicks don’t feel realistic.

- Players are too expensive, and not everyone can afford them.

- Graphics and celebrations haven’t improved much — they feel the same every season.

- Please make trophies in Head-to-Head and Manager Mode every season. And add new, realistic trophies every season to make competition more exciting.

- Events and rewards don’t feel creative anymore. And please reset the game .It will be much more fun and players will love it.

- Hackers and cheaters ruin the fun for fair players.

We want FC Mobile to feel like real football — with new trophies, better gameplay, and exciting new features that make every season different.

Please listen to kids and fans like me. We love football, and we just want FC Mobile to be the best game it can be.Please add those features in FC 26 mobile.Good luck while making the Game.

Sincerely,

David (12 years old, FC Mobile fan)

  • Good for you, David! Way to use your voice!

I couldn’t agree more that the game has become stale and is losing the FUN (which is what it should be all about!). I’d love to see EA improve the skill games and make gameplay more realistic. One of my biggest pet peeves is the way the game lags when it matches you with an opponent who is too far away. It becomes a lot less fun when all of your players are too slow to respond to your commands and you have little chance of winning through no fault of your own. Also, I would really like to see them do something about outrageously long shots that almost never find the back of the net in real life but that seem to fly in the goal all the time in FC Mobile. Here’s a pic of one that was just scored on me. 😒

EA doesn’t often reply to these posts, but don’t get discouraged. Other people hear you. Keep advocating for yourself and keep building community by talking with other people who share your interests and passions. ☺️

You're clearly passionate about the game, and it’s genuinely good to see players engaging thoughtfully with its mechanics and direction. Some of the points you’ve raised do highlight real areas for improvement, and that kind of feedback is important.

As you continue through high school, uni, or even just gain more experience with how businesses and digital platforms work, you'll come to understand that nothing in life — especially in mobile gaming — comes without a cost. These games are built around microtransactions and monetization strategies, not just entertainment. EA, like any company, has a revenue-driven business model. Their aim is to keep the game running and evolving while also turning a profit. That’s the industry standard, not the exception.

So yes, getting top-tier players without spending real money is rare — that’s intentional. However, there is still a free-to-play path, albeit at a slower pace. Whether that’s fair is open to debate, but understanding the system helps manage expectations and creates room for more meaningful feedback.

Also, keep in mind that EA has to design the game to work across a huge range of devices — many players aren't running high-end phones or tablets, and that limitation affects game performance and design choices too.

Most importantly: educated, constructive, level-headed feedback is what gets noticed. If you truly want change, it’s far more effective than the usual barking-at-the-moon, all-caps entitlement that often clogs up forums. Keep your passion, but channel it into well-thought-out input — that’s the kind of voice that matters.

  • It's all about the money. Stop finding excuses and hide behind difrent devices and network capabilities. And you just made the kid stupid because he is 12 and he doesn't understand the business environment? 😠 I think you and most important EA never heard of business ethics. Not everything has to be 100% profit. And ok I understand we need to pay for the game, but how much? Wouldn't be fair to have to pay to play and not pay to win. The game seems more like an auction where who ever pays more wins the game. How about having to pay a monthly fee to be able to play the game and let the skills decide the outcome of the match. Now not even having a good team guarantees you the win which I think it a real problem for the p2w players and that's why the update.

David, what he is trying to say is that EA is adopting a business model that you will see in the gambling industry. They are trying to control every aspect of the game in order to boost profit. If you ever heard of the theories in which casinos are controlling the environment, like the lights, the user interface of the games in order to make players spend more time and loose more money, well this is what EA is doing. They are not interested in a fair game. All their resources go into card design, gameplay manipulation and sponsorship to the YouTube creators.

I think the new update will bring some improvements to the game, unless they find a way to mess things up, which eventually they will do. I think their plan is to make cards attribute and overall really matter. So the expensive cards will be able to score, defend and dribble better.

Yeah, I think the comparison between FC Mobile and a casino is 100% apt. I keep wanting the matchplay to be better (because I still think about EA products as “if it’s in the game, it’s in the game” sports games). But the business model is that of a slot machine. Give the user just enough of a dopamine hit to keep them committing their time and money (and not a drop more). The actual matchplay becomes secondary because it’s not the primary source of the dopamine (collecting the cards does that). Instead, matchplay is secondary. Like the bright lights and music, the matchplay adorns the FC Mobile “slot machine” and needs to be only enticing enough (which is to say, it doesn’t actually have to be good!) to make the user/“mark” want to keep playing.

It’s sad really because I’m old enough to remember when EA products set an industry standard and were all about the passion for the sport. But this era of in-app “micro-transactions” has clearly corrupted that model. I can see this clear as day in the way the game is organized and in the way EA behaves toward all of us, but I find myself STILL wanting it to be otherwise—wanting EA to care about making FC Mobile matchplay better, for example. Maybe that makes me a fool. It certainly makes me a glutton for punishment!

  • I am not saying something new. It's a proven fact that the pack openings follows the gambling industry methods of tricking our brains. That's why they come up with the 3k gems pack and the free gems that we get. It's the bait. It's like when you go to a casino and they give you free chips. It's like a hook. I understand that they have to make money and I understand the micro transactions but I expect to have a fair game most and foremost and if it's possible some game improvements. It's frustrating to put money (not a lot) and to loose matches with goals that makes no sense, with players that don't stay in formation and against cheaters. I said I will wait for the update in September. If they don't provide a fair play system I will delete the game.

  • True, especially me and most of the people and kids like me. People who play the game can't just realise it.

    bwhaah,

You clearly didn’t comprehend what I said. You twisted it, stuffed your own nonsense between the points I made, then argued with the version you invented. And somehow, you still managed to contradict yourself in the process. I brought facts and context. You brought emotion, misquotes, and tinfoil-tier takes in between the actual facts.

You’re not debating, you’re just yelling at clouds like Abe Simpson does.
Stay mad, keyboard warrior. If you hate EA and the game so much, why not uninstall it and be done with it??
