Please remove the slowdown function from the game.

moderator or developer, report this to EA.. I respectfully ask please for the enjoy and healthy gameplay and community

  • slowdown? Care to elaborate a bit more? I can think of multiple things, including CR7's powershot, where the animation does slow down/zooms in.

    CR7's powershots can't be used in tight spaces. They said on the livestream that CR7's playstyle will shorten the animation time but in tight spaces it isn't effective.

    don't tell me you don't feel it in one match your team is slower than the opponent in the other faster..and in the one where you are slower you lose. that's what I was thinking. For example the defenders step there and stay there crouching for 2 seconds and the opponent jogs around slowly and then the ball goes in the goal. I said one situation among many or that your players can't get there in any situation you don't see that they run 60% or don't turn to get there in the situation and you either lose in these matches or the final result is 2-2,1-1. This is one of the tricks of artificial intelligence that many people have already said on the internet. this is the same function in record holders 100ovr opponent and your speeds are the same e.g. 125ovr vs 100ovr that's what I was thinking. It would be fair if someone has a better team and they beat me faster because they have a better repertoire, better players, better statistics.. I don't feel it's fair that I can be just as fast against a top team, then slower against a team with 5 ovr less team. This balancing function should disappear, it's been going over the limit in the last 3-4 weeks.. 5-10 seconds before goals you can already see the slowdown, strange actions from the AI. Ensure AI statistics and knowledge-based competition, not AI generalization..

    what ever if the match the responsivity push out more 1seconds you dont shoot in nothing im thinking this too but im thinking all match all gameplay. Competetive gameplay on back round this time very much, pl 119-120ovr team cant be same fast run,react, like 125 ovr team unfair balance trick

    I haven't really looked at the competitive gameplay in H2H for a while. I've given up on H2H due to ongoing issues with current matchmaking, where I mostly get matched with people across the globe so it will be a lagged game with 200-300 ms ping, so it's a bad experience for both the opponent and me. Not to mention that whoever is the match host typically has a massive edge, so making 50 stars in H2H isn't happening unless I move back to Europe (yeah, no). I might bother getting to Championship, sometimes go to 10, maybe 20 stars if I really need the extra 10k gems, but past that its wayy too much effort for a very little gain (10k gems at 40 stars) imo.

    The main reason why I said you need to elaborate is that Pulsar is passing the feedback on, so he needs a context, not just to remove the slowdown function.

    For me, a maximum ping of 50ms is perfect; the lag in reaction time and player speed isn't caused by that, but by the AI. It would be great if Pulsar conveyed the community's dissatisfaction and finally achieved results, because the current balancing mechanic really kills the players' enthusiasm. I wouldn't mind playing against high-ranked players—as long as the game was fair and ran smoothly.

    Yeah, I have noticed the exact same thing since the update. Everything is more sluggish — not just H2H or VSA where you’ve always had ping issues — but even in league tournaments and events mode . Some of it appears to be due to the way EA is implementing playstyles because I notice players without a playstyle feel particularly “heavy.” But I’ve been noticing for months that EA is increasingly relying on shortcuts to simulate difficulty — namely, nerfing your player attributes and injecting an input delay. I’ve been complaining about it for a while because it’s a big part of what makes the ultimate challenge finals (and now the Record Holders Muller challenge) miserable. We’re all accustomed to our squads performing in a certain manner and most of us are up for a little challenge, but it’s beyond jarring to enter a match where it feels like all of your star players (who you’ve labored and/or paid to acquire) are on a heavy dose of ambien! It’s just not fun. And, to my mind, it’s lazy on EA’s part to manufacture difficulty by tying the user’s arm behind their back. Just boost the opponent’s attributes and IQ!

    I suspect there’s a reason they don’t do this, and it has everything to do with what we see on display in manager mode — the underlying AI (i.e., the default “football IQ” embedded in the game engine) is poor and can’t simply be scaled up or down. Instead, the simplest way for them to ratchet up difficulty is perhaps the crudest, most underhanded strategy imaginable — slow users’ players as well as their inputs. As we’ve all experienced, it’s a crude approach that drains the fun out of gameplay, but it’s brutally effective at denying users easy rewards. 😡

    I don't think there's a game like this where if you move the analog stick and the player doesn't respond to the user's input, it's like my character is drifting, around the opponent doesn't leave it there when they attack. I didn't wait too long, I pressed the app and the game deleted no more angry day. It's not even worth playing for rewards, they don't push anything into the glass like a speck of dust into the ocean. This is a limitation for the best, I have never experienced anything like this in any game like in FC Mobile.. it's surreal how the artificial intelligence dictates the course of the game, sometimes I just watch the matchs for 20-30 seconds.. In my experience, if you face an opponent who has lost 2-3 times before you, he will definitely win and you are and performance blocked for the entire match same like division rise up to 10 stars,20stars,30stars.. This experience over the past few weeks has not restored my trust.. I don't even know how they can do this or should I take it seriously.. if this With a console game, they would have already crashed the community or left the servers everybody..

  • My latency to the local Sydney server is 30ms, so when I play vs locals, it's playable despite the current quirks, and I can progress, even when I am matched with Asian players (~100ms). But from 10 stars onwards is when I am matched with Americans and Europeans more often than not, thats when the game gets extremely laggy, and you have to anticipate a lot, so the gameplay needs adjusting and it's why I don't play competitively anymore.  

    I have seen a lot of similar feedback sent through by top players and whales about the current gameplay.
    Personally, I think that the changes the devs made to some of the passes/shooting and the addition of playstyles were the right moves; however, what looked promising in the beta didn't quite work out as intended when added to the live game. The feedback is definitely being taken on board and worked through, but these aren't going to be easy fixes/tuning, so it will take time.

    The heaviness of the cards? Hmm, maybe some, but not all. I still use 117 Gullit, Maldini, Zambrotta, and Zico cards. Also have Hamsik 119, which are non-playstyle cards, doing ok vs playstyle ones and eg. UTOTS Modric is a worse card than some of my 116-117 Icon/Heroes in the middle of the park, so I don't use him H2H. 

    Not gonna debate the AI aspect as the experiences vary between game type/squad/playing style/hardware.  It's hard to tell what's what without seeing the specific game input from the player vs what the game engine and netcode processed and what was rendered on your screens, then comparing that to the designs and the code, and it also treads the frowned-upon DDA/Script talks and assumptions.

    I also played the game on my brother phone becouse he cant play now, he has a team as good as mine 125 ovr same and it's hard to get to champion on his phone, even though my knowledge of the game is at 15 stars on my phone. Do you think I should have difficulty in legendary 2? Of course I shouldn't, I played against much worse players, the AI ​​doesn't let me kick out of situations. Legendary 1-2 is painful during the game, 8-10 direct kills are disabled, I've experienced this game, it's unplayable for me. Thanks to AI general.
