Re: AI Too Difficult (not a happy anniversary)

I'm glad to learn that EA doesn't control and test the updates. 🙌

    @Lincoln6161 It does make me wonder how they test them … because I know they do test them … perhaps their testing crew is just a little bit too good at the game because that is all they do 🤷‍♀️

    The intention was to fix the AI difficulty, because it is certainly broken when I can beat it on world class with a team of 45 OVR bronzes, but the fix has clearly gone way too far the other direction, and impacted too many levels.

    My 105 team I am struggling on some pro matches and winning others by 4 goals … something is wrong with some matches and they are looking into how to fix it without having other unintended consequences.

    Imbalance between auto switching times of both teams becomes a key outcome influencer and sadly this is too reliant on the game engine and outside user control.

    Pls ensure both teams get same switching speed irrespective of whether it is PvE, PvP or PvP autoplay/disconnected

    It’s absurd how they released this without properly testing it. And then taking crazy long to get a fix out and totally not communicating about it. It’s so disrespectful and so unprofessional. There better be a good compensation for all this… (but knowing  EA, it will probably come down to 3 coins and an unusable, untradable 95 OVR player)

    Totw matches unplayable

    1. Defs wont jump

    2. The players play badly whichwver side i pick

    3. Ball watching and not running to receive a through pass

    4. All passes nerfed. Even driven passes

    5. Players slow down automatically as they reach near an opponent... hence imposs tp chase down anyone but the ai can chase down my st like hell

    6. When the game decides the Ai has to score then all tackle commands go unnoticed or massively delayed

    7. Switching speed and reaction times of Ai is unreal.. even slowmo replay seems fast

    8. The apparent lag in my players doesnt seem to affect the way opponent LB or RB operate... its as if their workrates were set to 3000

    @mendozzamagic what do you think? Concerns valid? If these ai matches can be like this.. it goes without saying that any ai mode even in div rivals can act like this (on behalf of a disconnected player or an autoplayer for example)

    And boy, to get 3000 pts one must win these 4 matches like 20+ times? And the 3000 pt pack gives us what? Coin exchange fodder? No thanks.

    Either nobody in EA has guts to call it out or they are just clocking in the hours to keep earning their monthly wages....pitiful state of affairs

    Another dumb thing in this game : The gallery in the Anniversary event. Can someone tell me what is the utility of this gallery, except showing us players we will never have ?

    I've been playing the Anniversary event for 3 weeks. I have spent Gems in the store and I haven't won any of the players in the gallery. Nothing ! Rien ! Nada !

    TOTW is the only high difficulty one I can manage to beat - the match centre ones on the other hand, sheesh 🙄 

    The AI difficulty, particularly at Pro and World Class level seems to be too overpowered and way too erratic - I personally can play the same match three times and get wildly different results, which just doesn’t make sense.

    The team is working on it and will hopefully be able to provide an update on what it is doing about it in the near future

    The AI in Div Rivals is tuned differently, so should not have the same impact as in the pve pro and world class, but that said I haven’t had a disconnected opponent in h2h in some time (possibly because I only play it when I absolutely have to) so can’t reliably comment on whether that is the case.

    However, from what I have been told by league mates and friends on discord, it does seem to confirm that the h2h AI has not been noticeably impacted by the recent changes 

    it remains the case though, that if a player disconnects in h2h, if you moderate your play and don’t sprint at the opposition like you would in actual h2h gameplay, the AI will hold off and essentially let you slowly make your way to the penalty box and get a shot away … it is pretty much the only way I can win h2h with the lag that I experience I every h2h match.

    Sometimes a load time disconnected player shows up with an orange wifi symbol and god mode players... very similar to the matxh center ai gameplay

    @jobjjobj An orange wifi symbol is a poor connection, it is not a disconnection - a disconnection is represented by a white signal.

    As I have mentioned before - if you could provide some video of this “AI God Mode” then it would be quite useful to the team, as it is not something that they have seen or been able to replicate since h2h AI was dumbed down well over a year ago.

    I would be interested to see the completion rate at world class for football centre. 

    The intro graphics are terrible for football  centre liv v che. You can't the formations as the graphics scrolls too quickly. Also, the selection buttons for team and difficulty are poorly defined

    @pelicanos I won two matches on first try. In both cases, after I scored, I switch to total defense, and even score more ...

    Meanwhile everything, the whole game.

    From VSA to H2H, as well as MM for a long time and recently, after adjusting the AI, also certain event games🫣😔
