Rigged game progression in MM

Last event, I reached 50 stars in MM. This event, after 3 weeks, I'm still at 7 stars - 8 stars is impossible to reach with my 121ovr squad! Difficulty in all game mode is spiked! I get the impression EA wants me to quit this game after almost 3 years of playing daily without fail. EA, you're killing this game! I have stopped playing already, but haven't deleted my account. If next event is like this, I will delete my account and stop playing forever. I can't get the players I need, yet you expect me to spend my money - on what, really? When I resume next event, hopefully, you'd be better, or else. Attached is a picture of my team that can't progress to 8 stars after trying 20 times! I'm not a novice at this game!
