The Capped Legends Challenge - Difficulty

I was playing that challenge and everything was okay till it was the finals 

Lemme get this straight 

A team with 120 OVR, the A.I that I am playing against is max difficulty, and the A.I has the lead of two goals

This match has 3 stages 

1-The offense plays of the A.I, its just crazy, they will move like Prime Barcelona 2011, a dominant midfield involving KDB and troure is moving like Prime Neymar

2-The defence

Holy where do I start from, their defence is parking the bus and playing Prime Haramball like their life depends on it, they will make 3 guys chase you like u just stole the Mona Lisa, and interceptions are crazy, their areial plays...so you are tellign me, my F2P 115 OVR Haaland and who is tall get beaten by Akanji who is shorter...nah, too much 

3-The GK (Dudek)

U broke through the defence?, Nice, now you are facing the GK. 

An impossible curve shot, saved 

Power shots saved, even the 1 on 1 dawg i didnt get a chance

I wish EA sees this cuz I cannot do this anymore as a F2P player

    I like a “challenge,” but I agree with the original post insofar as I don’t think EA does a good job of simulating difficulty/challenge in FCM. For example, anytime we have one of these “final boss” level (aka “world class” difficulty) matches it’s glaringly obvious that they dumb down your players’ off-the-ball IQ (most notably in defense), they slow your players’ pace and agility, and they slow the input-output response time. The overall effect is that your squad feels sluggish, and this doesn’t feel fair or fun, especially when the opposition is calibrated to play lights out. To my mind, the absolute worst part are the moments when your defenders make inexplicably bad plays that lead directly to goals. I mean we can’t control four defenders at once, and there are situations where you can see a CB inexplicably stepping too high (or dropping too deep) for example, two seconds before the ball is inevitably played in behind them, but the controls are too sluggish for you to wrestle control back from the idiotic AI in time to prevent the goal. These passages of play feel heavily manipulated by whatever is going on with the code and just don’t feel like a fair “challenge.” Put simply, EA needs to put more work and care into simulating match difficulty.

    I’m writing to let you know that the new Capped Legends Challenge in FC Mobile is actually insane. The AI difficulty is tuned way too high—my 115+ OVR players are outclassed by lower-rated bots, and the keepers are basically brick walls. It’s not even a "challenge" at this point; it just feels broken and unfair for the community. You guys need to fix the gameplay and balance these events better because it’s honestly making the game unplayable. No cap, the current state of the game is a mess and we need an update to make it skill-based again.

  • It is a stupid decision to put up such stupid difficulty with a weekend event, People supposed to relax.

    Also the reward is a mere 500 diamonds. not really worth it.

    I some how managed to win the match 3:2 after something like 4 tries. This was my strategy:

    Control the ball, never let the other team to get the ball and organize an attack. Then pass the ball around until one of your best shooters have it near the area, then attempt a powerful fitness shot at the top left corner. It worked for me with 3 goals on 10 attempts. The final goal was scored at 90th minutes.

    Your projection of self importance is not necessary here. Everything the OP said is correct.

  • You got there before me with this. What on earth is the point of this??. 120 AI team juiced up with a 2 goal lead is almost impossible after playing so many games back to back. 

    So what's the play? Another way force us  f2p players by frustrating our efforts. Surely it should start 0-0 seeing as not all of us have teams that are ranked that high.  Modern gaming has become unethical. First you copy the casino model and apply it to gaming to get players  addicted, chasing prizes and throwing money in the hopes of landing a good draft. Then you set impossible tasks to win prizes. 

    I think I'm going back to retro gaming!! 

  • I mean, it is called a Challnege for a reason … but yeah, I don’t know why they set some of these to be ao difficult to complete
