Case #253361987 Pending Over 15 Days – Need Community Manager Assistance

Hi EA Community Managers,

I am writing to ask for assistance regarding my pending appeal for Case #253361987 on account wn6le5wi1obg.

The appeal was submitted on August 26 following a false-positive 28-day suspension caused by a network disconnection. It has now been over 15 days, which exceeds both the standard 3–5 business day response timeframe and the 10-day internal guideline.

My suspension auto-expires on September 20. It is crucial for me that this case is properly reviewed and manually cleared by the Terms of Service team so that an unfair strike does not remain on my account history.

I would greatly appreciate it if a Community Manager could check the status of Case #253361987 and flag it internally for the ToS team. Thank you!

  • Hey wn6le5wi1obg,

Sorry to hear that you're still waiting to hear back from your appeal.

If you've followed these steps to create an appeal, you're on the right track! Unfortunately, we aren't able to escalate appeals here on the forums, nor do we have an ETA to provide, as it depends on the number of cases that the team is actively investigating at the moment. Once the team has updates for your case, they will reach out to you through email.

In the meantime, you can keep an eye on the status of the appeal on your case history page. If the status is Transferred or Waiting on Studio, then the appeal is still under review and has been passed along to the right team. Appeals under those statuses can take longer than, so we appreciate your patience while they're taking a look!

Thank you EA_mplsnow for the clarification. I checked my case history and Case #253361987 has been pending since August 26. Since my 28-day temporary suspension auto-expires on September 20, my main concern is that if it is not manually reviewed before then, an incorrect strike will permanently remain on my account history due to a simple network disconnection.

Could you at least confirm if a status like 'Transferred' or 'Waiting on Studio' is visible on your end for this case number, so I know it's actively being handled by the right team? Thank you!"

wn6le5wi1obg This might not be the response you were hoping for, but I'm afraid we don't have access to account or appeal details here on the forums, so we aren't able to answer that question for you.

Generally speaking, your case history page would be the most updated resource. The ToS team manually reviews each appeal, so even if your status isn't one of the two that was mentioned, that does not mean it isn't being actively handled. Thanks!
