Ea account not linking

My ea account link button is blocked(grey) even though an ea account isn't linked. 

I have 2 accounts, one linked with ea account and one linked with play games account. I was playing with ea linked account but then i linked my play games account and switched accounts to my second account but the ea link button stayed grey even though the second wasnt linked.

I tried uninstalling and installing but the ea account link button stayed grey. Also I rechecked and confirmed that no account was linked. I want to link ea account to redeem codes but don't know how to troubleshoot this.
