I am not trying to undermine EA. I just want to find a solution to my problems and make them aware that there is an issue with the game that more and more players seem to have. The thing is that they don't give us an answer to our problems. At least tell us the minimum requirements for the game. This way I would know if I should quit playing the game or no. I have a decent phone( Samsung S20), eero pro 6s as a router and this is my internet speed( attachments) which again should be decent. That's why I don't understand what is happening, because although I upgrade my network the gameplay remains the same. Is like I am having a delay. I can't dribble, my passes are intercept while I am not able to intercept and balls pass through my players, I am always outrun and players just sit on the pitch without making forward runs or return in defence. And I can see the difference in the other teams.
Regarding your specific connection, it's important to understand that speed tests only measure the capacity between your device and a speed test server, typically located within your service provider's data centre. Beyond that point, your provider relies on peering and upstream connections to reach other networks and hosts, including the servers used by EA. However, speed tests DO NOT reflect the quality or capacity of those routes or the final destination servers used by the game.
Since EA has not publicly disclosed the locations or IP addresses of their servers, the only way to trace your data path would be to analyze your own game traffic (packet sniffing) and perform detailed network analysis—something most users won’t or can’t do. Your opponent is likely facing the same limitations. At the end of the day, we have to rely on EA as well as Internet Providers to properly manage and scale their router/server infrastructure or interconnecting fibre optic links.
So the point is, your speed test will not rule out the network being a problem, whether its you vs your provider vs upstream/peering vs EA servers, especially when you are playing H2H games. it will only tell you that your connection is or isn't congested to your service provider's network kit. If you lag playing PVE (offline games), then i would be looking at the device and game issues.
Regarding mobile performance, I previously used the Galaxy S20 Ultra and never experienced device-related issues. Any lag I encountered was due to network routing problems—specifically between my provider and EA’s servers, not the phone itself or my network specifically.
As for the in-game flaws, logic issues, bugs, and crashes—that’s an entirely different discussion. One thing’s clear: the game today is nowhere near the quality of Seasons 3 to 5 under FIFA Mobile.
So this is a rather complex problem to tackle, where all parties need to understand their role, and also they need to want to work on it collaboratively. Otherwise, it will be best effort from everyone, and experience will be far from what's advertised (this goes across the board, not just FCM or EA specifically).
