H2H is unplayable

Is it me or since the Footyverse event, the H2H mode is horrible. I've been using the same internet, same device, nothing is changed. But H2H is so laggy, I press pass and it takes 2 seconds for the player to do that, and that is just an example. The players are not running at all, they all feel like they have 50 pace and 50 agility and dribbling.

I enjoyed H2H before the event, but right now is just unplayable. VS attack is fine, manager mode is fine, except for H2H.
