Manager mode - Auto play stuck

I usually leave the game on Auto play and it used to find matches automatically and would continue for atleast 5-6 games before some issue happens and used to get the error matchmaking not available.  Can live with that.

But recently it's been just one game - the one I start and after that the screen gets locked and it rarely goes to auto play 2nd match.  When I unlock the screen, I get the attached screen and 9 out of 10 times have to restart the game.

Am I the only one having auto play troubles as can't see any issues reported.
