Volta Season not loading FIFA 23

The only FIFA games I ever played were FIFA 20 and FIFA 23, back when I wasn't a trophy hunter. My PSNProfile has a high completion rate, which is why I went back to clean up trophies in those games—even though their Platinum trophies are now unattainable.

FIFA 23 is a really fun game. I was always more of an eFootball/PES guy, but I'm genuinely interested in giving EA FC 26 a shot, because it’ll probably be fun as well. That said, I won’t buy it unless they fix the VOLTA issues in FIFA 23. I don’t want to deal with EA’s unresponsive customer support again.

At the end of the day, they might not care about selling one copy of the game to me—but gaming companies exist because we, the players, choose to play the games they create.

EA_cuervo​ we don't even need any unlockable prizes or anything. just give us the ability to collect exp and level up to level 7 for the trophy to pop. PLEASE!!!

I completely understand how important it is to many of you to complete all trophies, especially with the servers scheduled to shut down in the coming months. I’ve checked in with the team, and unfortunately, we’re not able to resolve this. I know that’s not the answer you were looking for, and I wish I had better news.

That said, we truly appreciate the passion and dedication you've shown to VOLTA and FIFA 23. Even as the game winds down, it's great to see such an engaged community.

EA_cuervo​ its easy… already do this sometime in Fifa22.. please, just add a final season!!!  A fast attention in this can help all us !! We wanna remain using and playing EA games!!

EA_cuervo​ Please fix this; if the developers do not want to add a new season, at least make it so that the trophy drops automatically. You can't just leave this problem like that. The developers should have informed their community that they no longer plan to add new seasons in Volta. In the same FC 24, you made the Volta season a year in advance. Why couldn't you do the same in FIFA 23? Just make it so that the trophy drops automatically in the game, and everyone will be happy. Please don't leave it like this.

Thanks for replying, but this misses the core issue. We all understand that once servers shut down, online trophies naturally become unobtainable — that’s expected. What frustrates players is that some trophies don’t even unlock right now while the servers are still live.

That’s not a shutdown problem, that’s a broken game problem. And it can be fixed. EA could patch the unlock conditions so they actually work, or implement a retroactive check that awards them correctly once players log in. Either way, there is a solution.

What isn’t acceptable is saying “nothing can be done” when clearly something can. Players paid for a complete product, and leaving it broken until the very end is not support — it’s abandonment. If EA refuses to fix this, then the truth is simple: you’re shutting down a broken game and calling it finished.

I've been playing the game for some time now and absolutely enjoying every moment of it. Of any fifa I have ever played. I did push myself to try out new gamemodes that I have never played before like volta arcade; to my delight it is awesome and it's a shame it will be discontinued. From my playtime I do have every trophy in the game except "On The Way Up". I get everyone's concern with it being unavailable as the simple fact is it would be nice to have something to show for all the effort that has been put in the game, as its your very last fifa game. By the way thank you once again for fixing the Ted Lasso Moments, they were awesome!
