Linking EA account to twitch

Hi I was in the EA madden stream to receive drops last night for the zero chill event. I was pretty sure all of my linked accounts were done properly. I didn’t know what to do so I unlinked my EA account from my twitch account so I could link it back and know exactly which account it was linked to. When trying to link it back I keep getting an error saying I already have a linked account for its lifetime. And the information it gives me for the login in of that account is line 30 letters and numbers. Idk if that purposely done to encrypt the username but I need to know how to figure out that username/account/email it’s linked to with twitch. The account is currently unlinked but the account is still assigned to a twitch account for its lifetime so I should still be able to link them back even though I unlinked? The way I read it when unlinking is it said I couldn’t unlink again until 2024. It didn’t say anything about me not being able to link it back until then.

    Unfortunately, you'll have to wait 6 months before linking again. You're also welcome to contact an advisor to see if there's anything else they can do. To do that, open a case here.

  • @EA_Aljo a few people have responded in another forum saying they unlinked their account and linked it back and had the content within minutes. How am I the only person on the EA forums that has this issue? I’ve tried to make a case several times are the system won’t let me submit it. This is literally one of the worst chat/help experience I’ve ever had. This is insanity to have to wait 6 months over something others did with no issues

    You have cases already open for this issue. It would be best to continue with those instead of making a new one.

  • I pretty clearly stated that every time I tried to resume the case I get some weird error message. And instead of helping me work around that you blame me. Which seems to be pretty typical of the ea support people. And now we can include people in your role to that list. There are MULTIPLE open forums of people saying they fixed the issue by unlinking the account and linking it back. Yet somehow I’m the only one currently locked out. I literally tried closing one of the cases yesterday and leave the other two open. One is the missing content which tons of people have had issues with. So clearly an EA thing. And the other is me being locked out of linking my account. I need both issues fixed and when I hit resume case it takes me to the same screen as when I initially started my case. So I retyped a message with my issue and when I hit submit I am given an error. I couldn’t find a workaround so I came back here. 

  • Yeah I did that and got locked out of my account. Everyone said worked for them. On one if these forums I made an EA advisor said I’d be locked out for 6 months. So I have no clue how everyone else managed to get right back into theirs. I’ve missed a lot of drops so I hope the backdated ones are waiting for me if I can get one of the support people to link it back for me. I’m waiting to hear back via email now but it seems like I may have found someone who can actually assist me.
