I have a 120hz oled it will be choppy at 120 locked and if you drop it to 30 cutscene 60 locked (default) with everything maxed and ray tracing on 30/60 is much smoother…what’s point in running 120 if you can’t hold 120 cause that’s where the chop comes from when the frames dip
This is absolutely ridiculous if this is an engine problem and can’t be fixed. HOW CAN A DEVELOPING COMPANY RELEASE A GAME IN THIS CONDITION???

Again, gotta understand how a pc works…when gaming you want the frametimes low and fps to not move…there is no difference to the game running at 160 fps but being choppy because of the dips in frametime and fps compared to holding 60fps and a frametime of say 12ms without them moving…actually the later of the two scenarios will always be more pleasing to the eyes. Your not losing anything, also my 5900x is only at about 12% used on average and about 20 max so that’s not something affecting everyone.
1. Why isn’t EA addressing this?
2. Can it be fixed?
3. When will it be fixed?
This should be top priority.
Is EA really not going to address this issue? If you can’t fix it, everyone should get a refund.
I'm not sure if you play online but I have a 3080 with a R9 5900X and I can get 120 FPS Locked without any FPS drops, but it is much more choppy it makes no sense why it would do that if I am able to get a stable FPS and yes I agree 60 Fps locked does make it much more smooth but it is close to unplayable when it comes to online play and my internet isn't the problem, nor should my computer be, and I've tried almost all graphics settings and it seems to not fix the problem, I'm hoping EA can make a patch to fix this but I think your alone when it comes to being stable and playable.
Hopefully a EA dev or someone close to Madden devs see this but will there be an update or at least an announcement that they know the game for some pc users is having bad frame drops and stuttering issues been trying to play the game on pc tried many things from lowering graphics and locking fps and cannot seem to play without it lagging bad and having stutters i also have the recommended specs for the game so idk if EA needs to drop a optimization update or what but its kinda annoying not being able to play the game because of this

Pre-loaded the game, was all excited to play last night, and the game is completely unplayable. In any game mode, as soon as the ball is snapped the game goes into slow-motion.
No matter what you set your graphics settings to, or lock your FPS to, the game is absolutely useless and unplayable. CPU is locked at 100% usage at all times, but if you go into instant replay the game runs like a dream! This might actually be the worst Madden release yet, and EA has set that bar extraordinarily low already. Game has been launchable (refuse to call it playable - it isn't) for almost a full 24 hours now and EA hasn't even said a word about the performance yet! What a great company. What an absolutely incredible organization.
Yeah, 100% - like what the heck? the game is unplayable.
Major lag, I'm sorry, but just, can't play it. Offline is a bit slow... Online? impossible.
I'm enjoying the game so far but the only issue i'm having with madden 24 is FPS Lag and my GPU Maxing out i have the Maximum Requirements to play this game but it seems like this game is unoptimized, i would love to see this game get fix for that
