EA_Shepard yes please pass this on to the correct team!!! THE DEFENSE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! Theres no coverage from AI defenders they are slow and dont cover any assignments or any man coverage routes.. somebody is ALWAYS wide open no matter what i call. Even in cover 4 defense the saftey is oblivious to the WR running a fly route down the sideline and just doesn't see him or move...The terrible defense is making the game NOT FUN AT ALL. We gotta struggle n grind just to get to a punt or incompletion. O and don't even try to play the chiefs..they are a cheat code on the all madden difficulty level. For the first madden ever im 32'd in pass coverage with a 93 rated defense how does this happen...IT HAS NEVER BEEN LIKE THAT. I hope they fix this or im gonna stop playing it and be forced to play college football 26 instead..

Community Managerrdeadwyler It is frustrating when you put together a 93 overall defense, and it feels like the AI is not covering anything. Safeties ignoring deep routes in a Cover 4 or defenders not reacting in man coverage take the fun out of the game. When you grind just to force a punt or an incompletion, it starts to feel broken instead of competitive.
You are not alone in noticing this. Other players have also said that coverage feels inconsistent, especially against high-powered teams like the Chiefs, where it feels almost impossible to slow them down in my experience. Defense should be holding up and giving you a fair shot, not leaving wide-open receivers every play. I can just hear my high school coach yelling at us for this one. I was a defensive tackle in high school, and if anyone ran up the middle in practice, that was going to be a bad day for us. I read the feedback all day like this. So, for me, it is good to have these types of conversations. I get specifics from y'all and not just things like "fix the game". These are the conversations we need to be having on the forums.
I will make sure this gets passed along so it is looked at. This is a quick follow-up for you. Are you seeing this issue mainly in All Madden, or does it happen across other difficulty levels, too? And when you run Cover 4, is it mostly the safeties failing to react, or are linebackers and corners breaking down as well?
are you using ai to write these replies or was your position replaced by an ai chat bot?

KevThaKidd258 Don't really need AI to write when you have been writing for 30 years. I'm pre-internet, but now I have Grammarly (which also uses AI to format) to correct everything and make everything I do more structured.
EA_Shepard well if you arent a bot can you zoom call your coworkers and tell them that every time you quit a franchise game the game gets stuck on a loading screen and freezes. Maybe they should take some time away from the kurt benkurt collab that no one asked for, take some pride in the game for once, and prioritize actually fixing the problems so we dont have to complain on these forums so much.
