Why is madden 26 so terrible?

Why do people keep buying games that developers are so incredible useless in making. Madden is the worst running game that has come out not just this year but in the last decade easily. Do people crave games that dont work? Why is hiring developers that are re-tar-ded so important to EA? I dont understand can anyone help me understand please :(
