(For EA to assist in troubleshooting)
I am NOT running any other apps. Not streaming music etc. Only have M26, Steam, EA app open.
I play slowsim CPU vs CPU so I notice it on both sides of the ball, however it seems worse for the "CPU" team (Opponent) when they are on offense in franchise AND in PlayNow.
This has happened with every team / match-up I've tried, consistently. I posted a .gif of this behavior in my other thread.
I have also replicated this with user control too. It seems worse when the CPU is on offense, however I have had it happen when I was on offense as human controlled user.
It's like 3 FPS stop motion. It takes 45-60 seconds sometimes for the CPU to break the huddle to ball snap.
And EVERY snap also has a 1 second hitch, or pause. Neither of these issues was present for me before the 11/19/25 patch. After both of these issues, the rest of the play runs smoothly!
Totally game breaking. And right at the heart of football season. Needs to be fixed ASAP as I have no other current / modern NFL options.
