I can't play Madden 26 on PC

I bought the game a couple days ago and it played fine the first time, but now there is an insane amount of lag every time I boot up the game. Madden and Battlefield are the only games I experience this with so I know it's an EA related issue. When I've cleared my cache and done all the troubleshooting shooting I can. PLEASE HELP EA!!!
