Madden 26 PC Lag and Stutter

Hey I just bought madden 26 on steam. I’m a big franchise guy and I put over 400 hours on my madden 23 franchise but it was time to switch. I’ve now played around for 3 hours changing settings but the lag is making the game unplayable. I read a post about this from about 3 months ago and I followed its steps but it didn’t help. Any tips or suggestions on what to do next. It would be a bummer if I wasted $30.
