Superstar Mode Stuck on Draft Interview

Long story short I created a player in college football and imported him to madden like last year. First time i made a QB and it worked. But every time and different position after that does not work at all. Importing the player is fine but once i get to the combine it changes me to a completely different default character and does the combine as a QB although none of the positions I've made after the first one have been a QB. Then i get to the combine interview where i answer one question and then it cuts to the character who is not me but there saying is me and then stays on him with no options until i quit the game. I literally left it on that screen for an hour or so to see if anything would ever happen and i got nothing. I have tried quitting the game multiple times and deleting and re-downloading the game but it does not make a difference. I have made every position and the same thing happens.
