Unknown Proxifier Error

Since I have downloaded Madden 26 off of Steam onto my PC it just keeps stating "this software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Please make sure it is not running or restart your PC.: Proxifier." I have restarted my PC multiple times and also have looked up multiple YouTube videos on the issue, which have been no help at all. Anyone else having the same error and assist me with mine??
