i'm having stuttering and choppy audio in game, the menus work fine most of the time but even they stutter on occasion. I've tried lowering the graphics settings down to the point everything thing is set at lowest and it makes no difference at all. i've also tried repairing the game, re-downloading the game, changing the priority to high/realtime, did a clean install of the latest nvidia drivers, set my graphics card to max performance, tried every combo of v-sync from the game and the nvidia control panel, overclocked and underclocked it, restarted my pc several times and i've also tried other games and there performance is as good as ever. i out of ideas as for what to do next, any help would be much appreciated. Also locking the game to 60 fps doesn't help either...My SpecsWindows 10I-5 6600k1070 GTX16GBSSD (133 GB Currently Free)

Christ almighty, its not our motherboards. Basically everyone has a different one. First it was CPU, then Barry came in with Nvidia graphics, now motherboards.. Whats next, we need to buy a new PC?And really enough with this troubleshooting. We are not PC specialist(maybe some are), we want to play the game. I dont have the time to unistall, check what i have in my PC, install 5 programs etc to run a game which could run on a mid end laptop...Come on, do better.

We all know by now Frostbite is a flawed engine, after the Anthem debacle, so maybe in the future, you should just ditch it for something that works. This is unbelievable. It appears that EA has absolutely no interest in fixing this game on PC. This thread has been going on for weeks. It's really unfortunate that EA is NOT trying to fix this issue and prioritize the PC community. Ive literally unplugged every device from my computer except my mouse, keyboard and single controller and the game still crashes my PC. It is not something on our end, this is on YOUR end EA. Do your consumers a favor and get something done. Ive canceled my Origin Premier and will not be buying this game even if yahll get this fixed. It's been almost a month an NO real answers on this topic. It's really sad.

List of troubleshooting I’ve done so far which does help with the audio crackle but still lags frequently and freezes after almost every play. Can’t have any other applications running or else it completely locks up my PC and requires a restart.
Unistall and clean install latest graphics drivers.
Windows up to date.
Turn off origin in game.
Turn graphics to minimum.
Try dx11 and dx12.
Set game to run as administrator.
Reduce Fps to 60.
Set Madden 20 priority to Real-time.
Reinstall the game 3 times.
Every other game I play runs perfectly fine and my specs are well above the recommended. Don’t think it is a PC issue. The only thing that seems to help a little bit is the real-time priority but then I’ll get random crashes and can’t run discord or any other applications. At this point I’m just hoping they fix it by launch.

Ive done each and every step listed here by others and other things ive seen elsewhere like reddit and the PC player discord but no luck. The game freezes my whole computer up where I have no choice but to use the power button to shut it down. Ive sat and waited for 10 minutes before with it frozen and it wont unfreeze. I get amazing preformance in every other game I play, this only happens with Madden 20. I used to get over 150fps in M19 with 0 issues. My PC specs arent terrible by any means and my machine and parts are well taken care of. Please EA Im begging you to fix this asap. I just wanna grind Madden again.

I'm pretty sure a lot of us have done all the steps that have been posted, including myself, and there has been no fix. My PC has crashed 3 times due to this game and madden 19 never did once. I don't know what exactly the problem is but hopefully you guys get it figured out. Pretty annoyed i havent gotten to play the game once in 5 days. Just been playing menu simulator 20 the past several days

Here are some additional steps below that might help you out. Thanks for getting back to us with all the steps you've tried.

Try right-clicking on the .exe file in the game folder and select properties>compatability>disable fullscreen optimisation.

Do you have Nahimic audio on your PC? We've seen that recently impact players with stuttering in Apex and Battlefront II

Turn off EVGA Precision OC'ing utility (Nvidia)

Try the game in Windowed Mode

Turn off Nvidia Geforce Experience Optimization (Nvidia)

In Windows 10 make sure your Power Options are set to Max Performance as well.

Just to repeat both Nvidia and Windows OS power options should be at Max Performance.

Open up "NVIDIA Control Panel" -> from the NVIDIA Control Panel, select the "Manage3D settings" from the left column -> click on the Power management mode drop down box and select "Prefer Maximum Performance".

I forgot I tried a few of these also. The only thing I haven’t tried is changing the power management mode and disabling the aorus oc’ing Utilities (it is set to default settings though). I’ll try that tonight when I get home. I am also running two 24 in monitors at 1920x1080.
