Achievements Not Tracking across Trilogy

Recently completed Mass Effect 2 on the Legendary Edition and failed to receive either Paramour 2 or Insanity 2. I tried replaying the Suicide Mission a couple times but still no achievements. I saw other people were having this problem and decided to just keep playing - I know I'll end up playing through the Trilogy again in the future which should unlock the missing achievements.

Fast forward to now, I just finished off the last things in ME2 that I needed, made a save to import to ME3 and switched games. I went to configure my settings, took a look at the achievements and noticed that ME3 doesn't register Paramour 1 or Insanity 1 as having been completed. Furthermore, the kill based achievements (Recruit, Soldier, Veteran and Bruiser) are all marked as not obtained despite showing progress and completion of both Recruit and Soldier. I'd hazard that the same thing happened with ME2 upon first launch hence why the achievements didn't pop.

  • If you romanced someone in ME1 a small workaround for Paramour II and III would be to reload a save prior to ilos, start the mission and as soon as the climax to the romance finishes you'll get Paramour II, repeat for Paramour III. Now, strangely Paramour II and III will still show up as locked on the ME2 and ME3 extras achievement tracker but will be unlocked in the ME1 tracker and most importantly, your account.

For the kill achievements, I THINK it's being causes by changing games. Everything was tracking fine until i decided to change back to check something in ME1 and ME2 and progress was gone in ME3.
