After playing for months, now says ME Legendary Edition not installed

I had EA app and Mass Effect Legendary Edition installed and was playing for a few months. Now it says they are not installed. I still see the files in my program files but no launcher.  How can I fix this and get back to the game?

    Try to repair the game.

(EA app: My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

Wow! That fixed it. I clicked on repair in the EA app and now everything works again. So easy, as I thought I would have to reinstall everything. The error message that said the game was not installed was a bit misleading. Thank you!
