Anyone think ME3 Multiplayer can still be added to LE?

Well? As an avid fan of the Multiplayer could we see it get added to the Legendary Edition? They removed the Galactic Readiness component to it.

If you keep it this way I believe it keeps everyone happy.

I loved the ME3 MP back in the day. Since we are still likely 2-4 years still waiting for the next ME game, adding this would be just a great way to keep fans satisfied and also generate new players to the mode.

Thoughts?

  • Very unlikely. BioWare has been quiet about ongoing support, even if there are still major bugs in this edition. Compared to that, multiplayer is a much bigger undertaking, so I doubt it will happen. Fortunately, the original MP mode is still online.

  • TBH after Andromeda I doubt we will ever see another mass effect game.

Yes, they're very busy hiring new staff for the next game. It's still a long ways out, though. It's not like in the old days where they could pop out three Mass Effect games in a single console generation. We should place bets on what comes out sooner: new Mass Effect or new Witcher.

Dragon Age 4 comes out first. We should have more info on that this year. After that, keep your eyes and ears open for Mass Effect news.

Just don't do the devs like you did with with ME3 into DA:Inquisition where they didn't even get a chance to catch their breath. We don't care if it takes years to get a quality product, we want one that does the story justice and not some last minute RGB ending that all basically have the identical outcomes and requires a entire dlc to still be sort of meh at best.

  • Unfortunately, this has become increasingly unlikely, although I think there's a slight chance they could do it in the ramp-up to ME4 as part of a hype building process. Considering there's a variety of bugs (both incredibly low-hanging fruit and more complex annoyances) and optimization potential left, it doesn't really speak for that. Especially with patch support for ME:LE having shamefully been dropped a month after release...

It's a shame, really, ME:LE deserved more official support than that. And I have some fond memories of ME3 MP, I thought it was quite enjoyable. 🙂

Yes well... They have also announced Anthem 2.0 innit.

And yes, I agree that MP is hopeless at this point. We're not far from reaching a full year without any support - or any WORD on the fact that they have stopped support. This behaviour should have gotten a lot more backlash, it is extremely impolite and insulting towards their customers.

I agree, and find it really sad that they have abandoned both Anthem and MELE after the promise of both games weren't really reached.  Personally, I liked most of Anthem, and was really looking forward to them fixing the things they said they were going to, but mehhh, maybe they will instead put the effort into DA:next and put out a really good game.  I right now have a hard time playing ME2LE because I see a glitch that effects my favorite class, the Adept and lift times of it.  After ME3 original ending and now this glitch, it is hard to play ME anymore...I do go back to Andromeda, as I still like that game for the most part.
