After getting Sarren down to 50% health on Virmire, after the cut scene of picking the person at the bomb up, the game cuts to black and nothing further happens visually. You can hear the characters and can move them about/fire your gun. But no further cutscene plays, and you are unable to progress.
Platform is Series X, and I have reinstalled the game three times, and beaten the fight four times now, same issue everytime. Just want to play through. ☹️
Getting a bit frustrating doing it over and over again on Insanity for it to black screen again .
Definitely happens if you are cheesing the door area. If you drop Saren while you're still inside the Krogan breeding area, rather than out in the boss arena next to the nuke, then the game won't know where to put you after the cut scene. You'll end up splashing around in the dark. You have to beat it again (sorry) you can still cheese it with the door, but your last hit on Saren you need to be out in the open.
