Same place, same problem. I'm on Series X too.
I found a workaround but had to choose the person at the AA gun rather than the bomb
Unfortunately too late for me to choose who I want to save in my playthrough, given my save point. But that is good to know for other players for sure.
I really, really hope that this is remedied soon; I've never played ME before, have been absolutely loving it, and now I'm just up against a brick wall...
I can confirm reloading the autosave and going after the person you sent to AA gun instead of the bomb worked for me also. Thanks for posting the workaround. Not the choice I wanted to play through the entire trilogy with but I'll take it over restarting.
Anyone heard anything else regarding this? Two weeks on and I'm still not able to progress.
I tweeted eahelp on June 4th and they responded to me and said they had the same issue and it was added to the list of known issues. Not sure about fix date though
