Bump. Been a week since threads were merged and stuff, and I'm just bored on my weekend. Figured I'd pop this back to the first page, in case any others ran into the same issue(s) this weekend and wanted to hit that "Me Too" button that Holger mentions.
This definitely would be a greatly appreciated fix for all us ultra-wide users, so the "bump" is solely to bring it more attention on this page, Google search results, etc. =)
