Can't load Mass Effect Legendary Edition on Steam

As the title. Bought it a while ago, but just went to play it for the first time today, and couldn't get it to load at all. It's through Steam, and I'm running Windows 11, the newest update (24H2) and have a pretty new and decent computer. Would love to get some help to get the game going on my computer, or, failing that, a refund for my purchase.

Please add a DxDiag to your next reply.

A DxDiag is an overview of your PCs technical features and recent software errors.
There is no personal info in it expect for the “Machine name” in the second row.
(You might delete the “Machine name” line if you wish too.)

    How to create a DxDiag:

    1. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    2. Copy and paste or type "DxDiag “ (Without the quotes) in the new field. > ENTER
    3. Wait until the green bar is gone > Click on "Save all information"
    4. Save the file to your desktop.
    5. Here at EA Forum > Click Replay > Click the paper clip icon at the bottom of the replay Window.
    6. Navigate to the "DxDiag.txt" on your desktop > select the "DxDiag.txt" > click on "Open".
    7. Type you massage > Reply.

    Try to repair the game.

(EA app: My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

    If that don't helps:

    1. Hit Windows key and X.
    2. Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)", whichever option is offered.
    3. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter (copy and paste) “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealthwithout quotes. > ENTER.
    4. If errors are found, notify us. If no errors were found repeat steps 1 & 2.
    5. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealthwithout quotes. > ENTER.
    6. The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here.
    7. After it reaches 100% repeat steps 1 & 2.
    8. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “sfc /scannow” without quotes > ENTER.
    9. Post the message you receive at the end of the processes here.

Sorry was busy, but I've done everything you said, and here is the message I got back at the end of it. There were no errors reported along the way with any of the steps.

eta: Oh, realized I accidentally put it in twice, so it didn't do it, just a second.... this is the actual message I got back:

    PS C:\Users\Admin> sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan.  This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
    Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

    Please preform a Clean Boot:
A clean boot is a process that starts Windows with a minimal set of services and startup programs. This can help eliminate or find software conflicts.

    Perform the Clean Boot:

    • Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
    • Type “msconfig” (Without the quotes.) > Enter.
    • In the System Configuration window, go to the Services tab.
    • Check the box that says, “Hide all Microsoft services”.
    • Click Disable all. (Make sure the EABackgroundService remains enabled.)
    • Go to the "Startup" tab and click Open Task Manager.
    • In the Task Manager, disable all startup items that are activated.
    • Close Task Manager and go back to the System Configuration window, then click OK.
    • Restart the computer, the PC will start into clean boot mode.
    • Test the Game.

Additional Steps. (Inside the Clean Boot Mode)

    • Ensure your virus scanner and other security software are disabled.
    • Disable Afterburner and similar software.
    • Make sure any CORSAIR software is disabled or uninstalled.
    • Ensure your GPU and CPU are not overclocked.
    • Disconnect all peripherals except for your mouse and keyboard.

  • Got same issue, here's what worked for me:
    1. Reinstall EA App - in my case app was broken
    2. Link EA App with steam
