Constantly verifying DLC

Hi,

Every time I launch Origin, the client insists on verifying certain DLC from this game. I've tried re-installing the client and this clears it for a while but it always returns. For some reason, the DLC (i.e. From Ashes, Citadel) is listed as being under The Final Hours of Mass Effect 3 instead of the actual game.

Could someone please help me on how to fix this as it's very annoying.

    I have the same problem, still no response/solution?

  • I contacted EA about this a few days ago but they gave me the usual uninstall/reinstall procedure, to which I've done several times.

    They said they couldn't see anything wrong on their end but I'm not convinced that it's an issue at my end. Yet again, I had to download the entire game and DLC after completely wiping Origin from my computer and it's still doing it.

    Is there anyone from EA who can investigate this further, please?

    For me it started after one of Origin updates, so I think the problem is in Origin, not in Mass Effect 3 itself...

    I have this problem too, and I'm pretty sure it's Origin, as I have the same issue with Mirror's Edge and Dragon Age 2. And it is a bit annoying, you're right 🙂

  • I'd have thought at least someone from EA would have replied to this thread by now. I'm still getting these problems and I'm refusing to go through the 'chat' method again as they always say a re-install will fix it.

    Can anyone from EA please get this sorted? It's a problem with your Origin client, not our installations.

    I have the same problem. It doesn't matter if i start Origin as an Administrator or not.

    I have Win8.1, if that matters.

    I've been having this issue since 2013. It happened as well after an install/update to Origin client.

    See below CHAT with date and times. I think I removed all personal info/

    Issue is with Origin somehow, In Aug 2014 I changed graphic card (upgrade), suddenly MP on ME3 worked perfectly......for one night. Next day it was back to the same problem. I stoped playing over a year ago except for that one night and I really miss it.

    Remove DLC verification!! Or fix the issues on our accounts through Origin.

    youSorry, no. The DLC is showing on the account. For ME3 when I launch the game it gets stuck on verifying download content

    youthe game (ME3) launches fine. Connects to EA servers and then hangs on checking DLC. It flickers in and out rapidly. Eventually it lists all the DLC and says it is unable to verify it

    youthis happened to me before with ME3 as the wring code was assigned in Origin to the game

    DaisyUpon checking your account here. You have all the dlc for mass effed delux edition. However, I've seen that other advisor try to generate a new code for it. correct. But no worries every dlc should be working. We may just need to do troubleshooting on your game.

    Daisyyes. but again everything seems to be fine on your account. If your having problem with the dlc, you may need to redownload the game. But if you have the repair install option on your game please do it for the meantime.

    Daisyright click on your game cover and choose repair install. That is if you had this option for me 3

    DaisyBrian, Ok here's what we're going to do, I will be providing you several troubleshooting that you can try to access your dlc.

    DaisyAs you know some technical issues really need a trial and error steps in able for us to resolve it. And here in EA we want to make sure that we give all possible options for our customer.

    Daisyalso you will need to reinstall your game and download it again. You may also try to reinstall your origin too.

    youI'm not very happy with this situation? I see this as the Origin client updated sometime in the past 4 weeks and this has wiped all the content or it is not accessing properly. Expecting to download everything again is silly and will take days.

    Four months later and not a single reply from anyone who represents EA. This isn't acceptable - could someone from EA please get their act together and report this to your development team as I'm sick to death of cancelling this DLC check every time I launch the client.
