On Steam you can find bundle that gives Legendary Edition 17% discount for ME 3 owners. As owner of all games with DLCs in Origin it would be nice to have something like that here too.
Just curious if it is possible to add a discount to Mass Effect Legendary Edition for people who already own the original Mass Effect Trilogy?
Many companies have given discounts for remasters when they own the original and some have even given the remaster free as a show of thanks to the player base for there support.
Indeed some discount would be nice, but its EA we talking about....

Hey everyone, I've merged a few threads together that had this question.
Currently we don't have any other information than has been announced today, but if that changes I'll provide any updates I can.
Thanks for the feedback in the meantime!
Edit: This article does also specify a Steam-exclusive discount if you had recently purchased ME3 via Steam, so that may be an option for some folks.
- @EA_Mako Thanks... it does seem strange that there's a discount for those that own ME3 on Steam, but nothing on Origin. I've got ME1,2,3 and Andromeda on Origin, and love the series... but paying £55 to get the new textures and updates hurts.
I have Mass Effect 1. With DLC. Mass Effect 2. With all the DLC's. Even pre-ordered the Mass Effect 3 N7 Digital Deluxe version. Paying full price for a remaster feels like we're here just to give money to Bioware/EA. Heck, even Skyrim SE was free for owners of the OG Skyrim and all DLCs...
It's sad that owners of the physical N7 Collectors Edition have to pay full price while owners on Steam get a discount.
- @TheChugster I feel it the same way. I also own the original trilogy and all DLCs definitely there should be some discount.
It would be customer-friendly if Origin had a discount that would be at least that high what Steam has. It's really disturbing that EA promotes its own client in the first place, and when people use it, they then get less than other clients' customers, even when EA hasn't to share its own shop's income with their competitors. There is something wrong in the state of Denmark. Really. Steam customers get a discount for the reason EA has to share its income with Valve. Stupid.
Ubisoft on the other hand does a lot more for a rewarding experience with their own clients' customers. That's the right way to promote someone own's client. And if EA had done the same with their own client, they would had lesser reasons coming back to Valve. I mean, even in a sausage factory where the sausages are actually produced, I get a higher discount. This is simple logic.
I'm just going to chime in here as well. I've got all the Mass Effect games on multiple plattforms and I had no illusion I would get the remaster for free, but we don't even get a small discount?!? That's just Illusive Man level ***********...
