Enemy AI in ME1
I'm a little baffled by the changes to enemy AI in ME1. Generally the baddies seem a lot more hesitant and really have trouble when leaving cover. This is not always the case; for example, the human biotics that attack you in cramped ship quarters are extremely aggressive and dangerous. And ranged opponents like Geth snipers benefit from being cowardly.
But Krogan, husks, and Thorian creepers have been extremely nerfed by the new AI, imo. All of those things depend on charging straight at you, and they simply don't do that anymore. Husks/creepers will eventually, but only one or two at a time. Krogan, who used to be very scary, are now creampuffs who hang back and let you fill them full of holes from range, without even making good use of Immunity (I believe Immunity was nerfed as well). These melee-ranged opponents need an adjustment to their behavior.
This is on PC, Insanity difficulty.
